The beautifully decorated Martin Mitchell Mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a showpiece of Naper Settlement, especially decked out in full Edwardian splendor during the holiday season. Take a guided tour of the two-story Mansion and Carriage House and stay to enjoy the holiday lights. Tours will be held at 1, 2, 3 and 4PM. www.napersettlement.org.

Dressed as the English interpretation of St. Nicholas (Father Christmas), Terry Lynch of HFK Presents will tell the festive tales and explain the influence this fourth century bishop has had on the many traditions of the holiday season throughout the world, both religious and secular. Holiday Film Festival – 7:30PM | $5

Get in the Christmas spirit with the Tivoli Theatres Annual Holiday Film Festival. The film festival will run from Sunday, December 13 through Wednesday, December 16 and will feature timeless classics spanning several decades, beginning with the 2006 The Holiday and closing with the classic 1954 favorite White Christmas. Tickets are only $5 per person and available at the Tivoli Theatre box office, located at 5021 Highland Avenue in downtown Downers Grove, or online at www.classiccinemas.com. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to participate in a sing-a-long accompanied by Tivolis Wurlitzer Theatre pipe organ. Bring friends and family to celebrate this wonderful Christmas season tradition.
