Waubonsie Valley senior running back Max Ihry
Ihry’s 190 yards and TD in 36 carries led the way as 30th-seeded Waubonsie Valley turned away a 14-0 deficit to score 21 unanswered points on way to securing a 21-14 victory over 19th-seeded Neuqua Valley. Ihry, who’ll wrestle at Northern Illinois next fall, has 1,228 yards and 13 TDs on 198 carries this season.

Naperville Central senior defensive back Jon Barker
Barker’s 35-yard interception return for a touchdown late in the first half closed out a 42-point first half for sixth-seeded Naperville Central in its 49-28 victory over 22nd-seeded Warren. Through 11 games, Barker has 69 tackles, eight PBUs and two interceptions.
