I love this time of year!
Our November bird seed sale is already happening. It’s a time of year when many of our seasonal customers stop in to see us, just for the birds!
As last year, there’s no need to rush into Dog Patch for a one-weekend bird seed sale like the old days. We welcome you to come in and get the deals on our sale prices any day for the entire month.
It’s a busy time with family coming and going, getting ready for the holidays with so many obligations. We want you to be less stressed. Perhaps stock up throughout the month to ease the strain on your budget a little, too.
As the temperature changes, it’s important to keep up with your pet’s dietary needs. It might be worth noting a few things. Dogs tend to move less so take a look at how much you are feeding them. Do you need to cut back a little in the colder months?
Reptiles will slow down. Many will eat much less. It’s also important to keep an eye on the temperature of their enclosures.
Small animals like hamsters, rats and guinea pigs must be kept out of drafty spaces to avoid colds. Make sure they are safe from a chilly situation.
There are so many reasons to be thankful this time of year. Personally, I am thankful for so many great customers who visit us at Dog Patch and the opportunity to place such wonderful animals into their homes.
Of course, my amazing staff and family mean so much to me and my animals are such a huge part of my life.
Please take a minute to remind the city council that Naperville is a great city and our community should be leading the way in legislation that makes it puppy mill free.
