The Naperville Jaycees have announced a total donation of $5,623.71 to local nonprofit organizations for the month of October 2015.

Thanks to year-round fundraising initiatives, including Last Fling, the Naperville Jaycees can provide funds to donate to community causes that make a difference.

This year the Naperville Jaycees have been researching and donating to deserving local organizations to award monthly grants from April through December 2015.

Their October donations totalled $5,623.71.  This was comprised of several smaller donations to different impactful Naperville area not-for-profits.  These local organizations are making huge strides to help several important aspects in the community and were recognized for those efforts by the Naperville Jaycees. The recipients included Youth Outlook, $1,000; Western DuPage Special Recreation Association Foundation, $1,250; Literacy DuPage, $1,873.71; DuPage Cure SMA, $1,000; and Community Career Center, $500.

The October donations are in addition to several other donations made in 2015, bringing the total of all gifts so far to $32,073.43 in support of “22 amazing organizations doing great work in the community.”

In addition to the monetary donations, the Naperville Jaycees are continually finding ways to give back through volunteerism and community outreach.
