The leaves are changing and falling. My dogs do not want to come inside on these beautiful cooler days.
The season is winding down for our pond customers and nets are on their ponds to keep the leaves out. Heaters are being purchased to keep the ice open in the winter.
Halloween costumes are flying off the shelves, pumpkin treats are popular and we are readying our selection of winter coats, boots and paw protector for the season. I personally love this time of year. I love the transition to the fall and winter months. The cooler temperatures make me happy.
Our intention always is to provide a large selection of high quality foods. We’ve made some adjustments and you’ll find some new offerings.
It might be worth taking a look. Everything we bring in is here for a reason and we would love to explain why we have made the decisions to bring in these new products. We bring every food in to address a problem that certain dogs can have. Come in and let us show you what is new!
Our rescue program is thriving. Dogs and cats continue to find homes at an phenomenal rate. Our partner Puppy Rescue 911 has been busy as always bringing us amazing animals from animal control and rescue. Sadly, there appears to be no end in sight to the supply of animals in need.
We continue to hope that the Naperville City Council will discuss and vote in favor of legislation to ban the sale of animals from puppy mills. Several more municipalities have done so since my last column. It’s happening everywhere.
Thanks as always!
