The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce has named Mark Galati of Interior Investments the 2015 Outstanding Chamber Member.
For the first time, the Chamber has decided to honor one of its Members for their dedication and devotion to the organization. Galati was presented with this recognition on Thursday, September 24 at the inaugural event, A Toast to Our Members: An Evening of Celebration’ hosted by the Chamber.
In selecting the individual, the Chamber considered the following criteria: years of membership, participation in Chamber committees or programs, number of advisory positions held, volunteer initiatives and outstanding contributions.
“It is because of our Members that we are able to be a strong resource for the businesses in our community. Whether it’s professional development, advocacy or marketing and visibility, our Members drive the success of the Chamber,” stated Nicki Anderson, Chamber President & CEO. “Mark is one of those Members that always contribute in some way. He’s dedicated to helping others, and his loyalty to the Chamber deserved to be recognized.”
Galati’s Chamber history
Galati’s employer, Interior Investments, joined the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce in 2006. Shortly after joining, Galati became a member of the Ambassador Committee, joined the advisory group and ultimately became the Chair of Ambassadors. Not long after, he joined TEAM 3, where he also quickly became Chair. He was elected to the Board of Directors where he served on Member Services Team and sat on the Executive Committee. After rotating off the Board, Galati returned to the Ambassadors Advisory Committee where he also serves as a mentor to new Chamber members.
