Ever since 2005 when we first discovered this quote about autumn, we’ve repeated it in anticipation of the daily changes of the season.
Even if something is left undone, everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves change.

Though autumn does not officially begin until at 4:21AM on September 23, 2015, subtle changes already are happening at parks in Naperville. Summer ends with the autumnal equinox, the time when the sun appears to cross the celestial equator from north to south.
Meanwhile, remember to take time to immerse in the brilliant colors of fall foliage. For some of the best views and photos, start early in the morning before the sun is overhead and the dew-covered leaves glisten in the sunshine.

A brisk 20-minute walk around May Watts Pond is an invigorating and peaceful way to greet the day!
May Watts Park is one of 140 parks in Naperville.
