Naperville Wine Festival  – 4:30-10PM | $15 – $40

The festival provides an opportunity to sample from more than 300 wines from around the world. Learn about new and exciting varieties from the experts in a relaxed festival setting.Wine seminars and cooking demonstrations are conducted by event sponsors, exhibiting wineries, area chefs and restaurateurs. Some of the area’s best restaurants and caterers will sell their signature dishes. Live music will be performed on the festival stage. The Festival also runs Saturday 4-9:30PM. Casey’s Fires Up the Grill  – 11AM-2PM | Specials start at $5
Casey’s Foods in Naperville Plaza  – Washington Street at Gartner Road.
Today’s grilling will be repeated every Saturday and Sunday with lunchtime favorites until next fall. Picnic tables provide seating under cover.  Casey’s also has a variety of specialty cakes for special occasions in its bakery. Veggie Fest Chicago 2015 – All Day | Free

Veggie Fest Chicago 2015, is moving to a larger location. It will be held on the campus grounds of Benedictine University in Lisle. Vegetarians, vegans, health conscious and family-fun seekers will enjoy Veggie Fest Chicago, an outdoor festival to be held from 11AM to 8PM, Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16. Attendees can expect delicious vegetarian food, food demos with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and raw food dishes, live music and leading-edge information from doctors and specialists in vegetarianism, spirituality, organic food and eco-friendly living. Each Sunday through Aug. 30 (with the exception of July 12), admission to our museum includes free sundaes from Culvers with do-it-yourself toppings, hands-on family activities and tours of historic buildings. India Day Parade & Celebration – 2PM

Naperville Indian Community Outreach is proud to host the parade followed by a cultural extravaganza called ‘India Day’ on Sunday, Aug 16 in Naperville downtown. Join us to learn about India and enjoy the culture, food and ethnic clothes/jewelry. Naperville will become the first city to support and host the India Day Parade in the suburban Chicagoland area. Please block the date and participate in this colorful fun event.
