The Quad County Homeless Veterans Stand Down will be held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds August 20-21, 2015. A collection of donated items is needed by August 14.
Requested items are any gently-used or new clothing for adult women and men.
Summer and fall attire is especially needed for men, including interview appropriate attire (suits, slacks, dress shirts, ties, dress shoes, etc.), jeans, sweat pants, slacks, polo shirts and dress shirts.
T-shirts and sweatshirts are OK, but not preferred.
Accessories such as belts and shoes also are requested.
Drop off donations at Naperville Township, 139 Water St., between 8:30AM and 4PM, Monday to Friday; or Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 at 908 W. Jackson between 9AM and Noon or after 4PM.
