Edward Foundation names three new board members

The Edward Foundation Board of Directors approved three new board members at its June meeting.


Mark Anderson

Anderson-Edward-foundationMark Anderson, a resident of Lombard, is a partner in the law firm of Aronberg Goldgehn Davis & Garmisa. He has more than 30 years of private practice at various law firms in Chicago and has extensive experience in tax planning, business representation, and trust and estate administration on behalf of business owners and their families. Anderson earned a Masters of Law in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the American and Chicago Bar Associations. Before becoming a Foundation board member, Anderson served on the Foundation’s Planned Giving Committee.

Julie Chirico

Edward-found-Chirico-v2Julie Chirico, a resident of Naperville, has extensive professional fundraising experience and has been a major gifts consultant for the Edward Foundation. In addition, she has served on the Foundation Events Committee, participated in the Naperville Junior Women’s Club, Naperville Responds and 100+ Women Who Care, and served as a volunteer for Naperville Community Unit School District 203. Chirico earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University.

Leigh-Anne Kazma

Edward-found-Kazma-v2Leigh-Anne Kazma, a resident of Chicago and Boca Raton, Florida, is president of the Kazma Family Foundation, which provides scholarships to Chicago area students. She is a member of numerous boards, including the Chicago Big Shoulders Fund, Joliet Diocesan Catholic Education Foundation, and several elementary and secondary school boards. Kazma has established a scholarship at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, and is funding school construction in Honduras and a college scholarship program in El Salvador. She is a graduate of Naperville Central High School and Bradley University.

Established in 1990, the Edward Foundation has raised more than $40 million in its mission to support Edward Hospital’s community healthcare initiatives, including free services and health and wellness programs; centers of excellence like Edward Heart Hospital and Edward Cancer Center; and programs that make Edward unique, like the Ronald McDonald Family Room.
