Being connected to WDSRA can get you the inside scoop on screenings of this summer’s blockbusters, family swim nights around town, carnivals with special hours, and a host of other events which cater to families with special needs.
Here are just a few of the events taking place this summer in and around the Naperville area:
The Naperville Park District offers Special Needs Swim Nights at Centennial Beach. Families are invited to enjoy a quiet, relaxing evening at Centennial Beach. The shallow end and slide is open 6:30-8PM on June 28, July 5 and July 26. For info, visit www.centennialbeach.org/specialneedsnights.
Studio Movie Grill (Wheaton) offers special needs screenings on select Saturdays at 11AM. First run movies are shown with the lights up and the volume down. Sky Zone Trampoline Park (Elmhurst) welcomes children and adults with special needs and their siblings, families, and friends to jump on the first Monday of every month from 5-7PM.
