Naperville Park District Board elects officers for 2015-2016

Above / Commissioner Mike Reilly, President; Commissioner Rich Janor, VP; Commissioner Jim Ensign; Commissioner Marie Todd; Commissioner Kirsten Young; Commissioner Gerry Heide; Commissioner Bill Eagan; and Executive Director Ray McGury.

The Naperville Park District Board of Park Commissioners conducted annual officer elections at their regular meeting on Thursday, June 12. Commissioner Mike Reilly was re- elected president and Commissioner Rich Janor was elected vice president.

Additionally, Park District staff members Sue Stanish, director of finance, and Jacki Stern, executive administrative assistant, were elected as board treasurer and board secretary, respectively.

According to the news release, the Park District congratulates President Reilly and Vice President Janor on their election to leadership roles on the Board for the 2015-2016 year.

At the meeting, Executive Director Ray McGury expressed his appreciation on behalf of Park District staff to President Mike Reilly and Immediate Past Vice President Ron Ory for their service in 2014-2015.

The next Naperville Park District Board of Commissioners regular meeting is slated for 6PM Thurs., June 25 at the South Maintenance Facility.

Editor’s Note / During the Executive Director’s remarks with an overview of upcoming events and reopenings, McGury also mentioned that at 8:30AM Sat., June 13, the Naperville Park District will rename the Garden Plots. The public is welcome.
