Pet Words of Wisdom – Paws for thaws

As hard as it is to believe, February has passed and March is here. Spring is around the corner and green grass will not be far behind. It’s something else when the buds start to form on the trees and songbirds start to sing. Our dogs begin to get restless and start to spend more time outside. Walks start to get longer and more fun for us, too!

It’s time to find all of the rotten toys left out in the snow all winter. The missing tennis ball that marinated in the muck through all those freeze and thaws. It’s time to replace the gross leash and collar that just got disgusting this winter through the sleet and snow. It’s time to take stock of what to replace because, frankly, it’s just time to update. The old creaky bird feeder is about to crumble. It’s time to think about upgrading. This is the time for renewal and that includes for our pets.

Here at Dog Patch we are loading up for this season with new supplies of all kinds. Leashes, collars, toys, bird feeders, bowls and more. We have everything you need to upgrade and replace your pet stuff to the latest, coolest new equipment.

We don’t always think the hi-tech solution is the way to go. Often we go with what’s been working for years and years. We are kind of old school around here.

We also love our Lupine collars with their lifetime guarantee, even if chewed. Now that’s a real guarantee.

We always have awesome rescue animals at the store for you to adopt. Spring is a great time of year to consider taking home a pet. Rescue pets are amazing animals. They seem to have a palpable sense of gratitude. Please consider taking a chance on one today! Find your rescue at Dog Patch!
