-

The headliners are finalized and the history of rock music continues at Naper Settlement during this summer’s Naper Nights Community Concert Series that will be held from 5 to 10PM Friday and Saturday nights, June 19-20, July 24-25 and August 21-22 at 523 S. Webster St. in Naperville.

“I’m really looking forward to this year’s lineup,” said Naper Nights Committee Co-chair Chris Korsgard. “I think it’s probably one of the strongest and most diverse lineups yet. Each year, we have tried to mix in music from every decade and genre of rock to entertain rock music lovers of all ages.”

June 19 & 20

Kicking off the concert series on June 19 is returning favorite American English, a Beatles tribute band, who will perform the album “Help!” in its entirety and much more of the Fab Four’s hits during an entire evening of Beatles’ music. The next night, June 20, features Elevation, a premier U2 tribute band.

July 24 & 25

Virtuoso lead guitarist Daryl Stuermer of the super-group Genesis and Phil Collins’ band will perform on July 24. Stuermer has been touring the world to sold-out crowds since 1978. He created the signature guitar sound of the Phil Collins’ mega hits “In the Air Tonight” and “Easy Lover.” During Naper Nights, he will be playing some of the biggest Genesis and Phil Collins’ hits of the late ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. Back by popular demand, Think Floyd returns on July 25, bringing a choreographed light show and nine-member band that recreates the sights and sound of Pink Floyd.

August 21 & 22

On Aug. 21, Mike and Joe, a modern rock cover band, will play music from the ’90s to the 2000s. Deacon Blues, a Steely Dan tribute band, will open the evening of Aug. 22, followed by Deacon Blues’ main keyboardist and vocalist Brian Harris as Simply Elton, which is a tribute to Sir Elton John and his contributions to rock music that span five decades.
