Frederick Douglass, John Brown, Lewis Howard Latimer and Eleanor Roosevelt are just a few people whose stories are coming to life on stage during Naperville North High School’s Black History Month Showcase. Students, faculty and parents will help history come alive in “An Evening with Exceptional Contributors to History Past and Present” on Thursday, February 5 at 7PM.
The community is invited to come see Naperville North students, faculty and parents take the stage and embrace the persona of “An Exceptional Contributor” through music by the Naperville North Jazz Band, dance routines by the Naperville North Step Team, and vignettes that features the historical leaders having conversations about topics such as the abolition of slavery.
The Showcase is sponsored by parent organization S.U.C.C.E.S.S., P.R.I.D.E. and NNHS Students Activities. Tickets are available at the door or by emailing NNHSSUCCESS@gmail.com.
