Thank you for keeping greetings as brief as possible. And thanks for sending your thoughts about this community with your signature. We welcome them!

TO PN & Friends of Hesed House: I would like to take a moment and thank everyone who supported our Hesed House mission during 2014 and especially the last two months of the year and what a very special time of the year it was. Hesed House is truly blessed with so many friends who graciously give of both your financial and human resources in order to send a message to our guests and staff, that we are not alone in this fight to end homelessness in our communities. We received that message loud and clear through all of your year- end contributions, gifts for all of our children, winter wear for our guests and all of the wonderful meals and celebrations that took place over the holidays.

Your kindness is simply breathtaking and quite honestly, is nothing short of a miracle. Miracles are what we need in order to do what we do and they come in the form of regular folks like you!

As we are now starting a new year, we at Hesed House, are encouraged that we will be able to continue our mission to serve all that come through our doors in a manner that honors our mandate from Micah 6:8: “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy (Hesed), and to walk humbly with your God?”

Thank you, and may God’s richest blessings be upon you and your family this year!

—Michael W. Cobb, Executive Director, Hesed House

TO PN 2015 Election & Voter’s Guide: Your questions to the candidates were GREAT!!!  It was interesting to read their views and I found it incredibly informative.  I’ve asked everyone in my household to read it.  I think it’s important for folks to be educated on their choice of candidates and to vote!  Thanks so much for providing this important service for our community.  Jan Erickson, Naperville Resident

TO PN 2015 Election & Voter’s Guide: The Q & A was very well done. Your website lays it out great. (It) should be a resource for the voters throughout the campaign. —Kevin Coyne, Naperville Resident

Editor’s Note: Candidates are welcome to submit times and places they will be available to “Meet & Greet” the community.  Lists of the candidates for Mayor and City Council with photos, news with updates as well as candidate forums are featured at election.positivelynaperville.com.
