BennemaWaubonsie Valley senior quarterback Zack Bennema

Waubonsie Valley’s Zack Bennema had 242 total yards while accounting for five touchdowns for the second straight week in No. 20 Waubonsie Valley’s 59-29 victory over South Elgin. Bennema threw three TD passes, including two to Justin Rich, while running for two more touchdowns on the ground. On the year, Bennema has 24 total touchdowns and will enter the postseason with exactly 739 passing yards and 739 rushing yards.

Tim Cederblad’s charges held Marian Catholic’s offense to 121 total yards while intercepting two passes amidst Benet’s 66-7 victory over Marian Catholic. Liam Masse and Jack Brown combined to come down with the interceptions of Spartans’ quarterback Cameron Thomas.
