Live Music at CityGate: Paul Abella Trio – 8:30PM
City Gate Grille – 2020 Calamos Court Naperville, IL 60563
Football-week-5Jazz-Rock-Samba-Fusion? It’s the best phrase to describe what we do. It’s Jazz improvisation meeting Funk and Brazilian rhythms over Rock songs. It’s a unique sound that’s been forged out of marathon gigs throughout Northern Illinois over the past six years. It’s the sound of a rhythm section that has been working together for 10 years, twisting and turning its way through songs like a machine. It’s the sound of a guitarist melding Jazz, Rock, Folk, Blues, Afrobeat and Bossa Nova like a mad chemist in the wee hours of the night. It’s the sound of a jazz band not content to play by the rules. In short, it’s Jazz like you’ve never heard it before.  Visit www.citygategrille.com for dinner reservations.
