Edward Foundation Golf Outing sets records in attendance and fundraising

-

The Edward Foundation raised a record $365,000 at its 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament, up from $301,000 raised at the 2013 tournament. Mike Tomczak, former Chicago Bears quarterback, was the celebrity guest.

A record 275 golfers took part in the event and contributed funds through sponsorships, donations, a raffle, games and the purchase of mulligans.

The winning team on Cog Hill’s Dubsdread course included Brett Schroeder, Tom Giroux, Tom Bollinger and Marty O’Malley of St. Jude Medical.  The winning team on Cog Hill’s Course #1 and #3 included Edward physicians Dr. Darrel Kasten, Dr. Douglas Tran, Dr. Gonzalo Pandolfi and Dr. Matthew Dunne.
