Through Aug. 17, Art exhibit: NCC will showcase a collection of paintings with Pop Art influences by Diana Leviton Gondek in her exhibit “Insight / In Sight” through Aug. 17 in the College’s Schoenherr Gallery at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.

July 9, Graduate information session: NCC will host a graduate information session on Wed., July 9, for students interested in learning about the College’s seven graduate degree programs. Registration begins at 5PM in Smith Hall at Old Main, 30 N. Brainard St., with an optional campus tour at 6PM. July 11-13, 17-19, Opera: NCC presents its Summer Light Opera, a double billing of two of Gilbert & Sullivan’s earliest and most charming works, “Trial by Jury” and “The Sorcerer.” Performed by community actors, both works will be presented at 7:30PM July 11-12 and 17-19 and at 2PM July 13 in the College’s theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, 31 S. July 14 & 28, Visit Days: High school students and their parents or guardians are invited to attend a NCC Visit Day on either Monday, July 14 or July 28. Registration begins at 10AM in the Wentz Concert Hall lobby, 171 E. Chicago Ave., and concludes with lunch at 12:30PM. High-achieving students are invited to an optional session at 9:30AM. Visitors can take a walking tour and attend informative sessions on financial aid, academic highlights and student life. July 18, Transfer information session: NCC will host an information session Fri., July 18, for transfer students. Visitors can learn about academic choices, transfer admission process, scholarships and financial aid. Registration begins at 9:45AM in Smith Hall at Old Main, 30 N.
