West Nile Virus updates now available

-

Park_NileThe welcome summer weather and outdoor activities in the Naperville area also bring the possibility of exposure to mosquitoes.  The Naperville Park District regularly informs residents of instances of West Nile Virus found in area parks, as reported by the City of Naperville.

New for 2014, the Naperville Park District will maintain a web page with current information about findings of West Nile in specific parks and general precautions and background information from DuPage County about West Nile Virus and how to minimize exposure to mosquitoes. Users may access the web page by navigating to www.napervilleparks.org/westnilevirusinformation.

Similar to visiting the Weather Cancellations page on the District’s website, residents may check the West Nile Virus Status page at any time prior to visiting a park.
