Naperville Community Television, Channel 17, is welcoming community leader Gerry Cassioppi to its Board of Directors.
Gerry Cassioppi is managing partner of Nyberg & Cassioppi, focusing on corporate and transactional legal matters. Following his graduation from University of Illinois’ business and law schools, as a CPA and attorney, Gerry has worked with Fortune 100 Companies and start-ups in the Chicago area for over 30 years. Gerry is presently DuPage County’s Ethics Commission Chair, President Elect (Third Vice President) of the DuPage County Bar Association, and a Director of Choose DuPage. He was the DCBA Lawyer of the Year for 2012, and previously served on the District 203 School Board and Naperville’s Transportation Board. Gerry and his wife Stephanie have lived in Naperville for 25 years with their two sons, and been actively involved in a variety of community matters.
In announcing the appointment, NCTV17 Board President Tom Carroll stated, “The addition of Gerry Cassioppi to the NCTV17 Board helps to round out the knowledge and expertise of our Board in both the legal and finance arenas. With his extensive public service experience, professional expertise, and passion for all things Naperville, we are very excited and happy to have Gerry join us in guiding the future of our community’s television station.”
