
Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) welcomes new staff member Lori Baker to the WDSRA team as Development Supervisor. As a member of the WDSRA Foundation team, Baker is responsible for managing the WDSRA Foundation’s database and coordinating major events as well as overseeing a variety of fundraising functions.
Baker has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Law Enforcement Officer and Mental Health Professional. Most recently she was the database administrator for GiGi’s Playhouse.
With a long history of working in the field of social work and volunteering, Baker believes that giving people the opportunity to help themselves is key to personal growth.
In her spare time, Baker enjoys the theatre, reading, horseback riding, sewing and attending her daughter’s sporting events and performances. She resides in Fox River Grove with her husband and daughter.
