You might call May 28, 2014, a monumental day for all the folks associated with Main Street Promenade as they gathered around to prepare a one-ton cast stone to be set high atop the two-story development.
Engraved to identify the new retail and business center in downtown Naperville on one side, the back side, likely never to be seen again, is inscribed with heart-felt messages of appreciation to the community.
During the next few weeks, road work will begin. Some of the retail space is expected to open in mid-August, with the rest ready to go in advance of the 2014 holiday season. Watch the progress on PN’s website.
