-

city of naperville squareThe downtown Riverwalk and Riverview parking lots (both off Jackson Ave. between Main and Webster) will close completely to traffic for maintenance work on Monday, May 19 and Tuesday, May 20, pending weather and unforeseen circumstances. These lots are part of the City of Naperville’s 2014 Municipal Parking Lot Improvement Project that includes maintenance of 15 parking lots this year.

Maintenance includes a complete resurfacing of both parking lots. Although the lots will be unavailable for use during this time, parking will be available in all other downtown lots. A map of alternate downtown parking facilities is available to view at www.naperville.il.us/downtownparking.aspx. The lots will be completely re-opened by Wednesday, May 21, pending unforeseen circumstances.

The Municipal Parking Lot Improvement Project includes maintenance that can range from minor work such as sidewalk replacement, curb and gutter replacement and patching to major repair work such as resurfacing and seal coating. The impacted lots are located throughout Naperville and include downtown and commuter parking lots. Work on all lots is anticipated to be completed by August 2014.
