February is the month to express our love to people in our lives. It’s also a good time to remind yourself about the love of your animals. I know that I could never make it through a day without all of animals in my life. No one on earth can bring me around better than my dog, Abner, with one well-placed lick to my face.
Here at Dog Patch we love adopting rescue dogs like Abner into homes like yours. The very act of adopting an animal in need is the purest form of love. Selfless and beautiful all at once. We seem to know that they will love us back unconditionally.
I love first-time adopters who might have been hesitant, but return a few weeks later clearly smitten by their new buddy. We love our customers. Together we are riding the wave of a new kind of pet store.
We love Bernie Berlin from A Place to Bark for all of the hard work she does to find us such great animals. We love our suppliers that continually step up to help us with the day to day stocking of the store. Without their lead, many great advances in pet care would miss our store. They are all good at what they do.
I love my staff . These people have dedicated their lives to taking care of you, the customer, and the loving pet in your care. We don’t just clerk, we care. We care enough to help you show your love for your best friend by finding new products and having real working knowledge of what we sell. A great dog or cat food recommendation can change an animals life. Yours too!
Bottom line is that I love what I do. Lately I can’t go anywhere without someone coming up to me to tell me about the love of their life— an animal adopted through Dog Patch. It fi lls my heart with pride and joy.
