The tree again will be set in the Dandelion Fountain, in the Civic Plaza near the corner of Jackson Avenue and Webster Street, and traditionally is in place by the third week in November.

Preferably, the donated tree will be a minimum of 15 feet tall, although previous trees have been around the 20-foot mark. A spruce or fir is preferred.

Additionally, the tree to be donated needs to be located in the front yard so that a truck can easily access it and haul it away.

Any individual who has a tree to be considered for donation should contact Chuck Papanos at (630) 848-3590 or at cpapanos@napervilleparks.org.
