The award-winning Naperville North High School Show Choir ensembles will conduct a one-day Halloween camp to introduce the joys of performance to students in grades 3-8 who attend Naperville School District 203. The two-session camp will take place from 8AM to 4PM on Sat., Oct. 26, at Naperville North High School campus just prior to the Halloween Showcase, slated at 4PM.
Members of the Entourage and High Heeled Harmony ensembles will teach songs and dance routines to camp attendees under the direction of Vocal Music Director and Instructional Coordinator for the Fine Arts, Nicholas P. Janssen.
According to organizers, the aim of the camp is to get youngsters involved early in rewarding fine arts activities such as Show Choir. Then camp attendees will have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents in various showcases such as the one next Saturday on stage at Naperville North.
Enrollment is now open to any student in grades 3-8 in Naperville School District 203.

Drop off and check-in will begin at 7:30AM.
The Halloween Showcase will begin at 4PM immediately following the camp at the Naperville North High School Performing Arts Center. Members of the community are welcome. Tickets for this show are $5 per person.
Did you know? The extra-curricular Show Choir program at Naperville North High School comprise a highly selective and competitive ensemble of singer-dancers who perform in choral concerts, Show Choir festivals, clinics and community performances throughout the year.
Since its inception in 2012, the NNHS Show Choir program Entourage and High Heeled Harmony ensembles have earned recognition in the Show Choir community. Last school year, both groups earned numerous awards at Midwest Show Choir competitions, including the Keokuk Show Choir Invitational, El Paso-Gridley Show Choir Invitational and the Grand River National Show Choir Invitational. The ensembles are already preparing new performances for the 2013-2014 contest season. Future performance dates and locations have yet to be announced.
