Naperville resident Joseph Weidenbach, Senior Vice President, Chicago Region Head for The Private Client Reserve of U. S. Bank, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of The Morton Arboretum.
The Arboretum is a nonprofit organization dedicated since 1922 to planting and saving trees for a greener, healthier, and more beautiful world. It is governed by a board comprising corporate and civic leaders who oversee the fulfillment of the organization’s mission.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank last year, Weidenbach was with J.P. Morgan Chase. Early in his career, he was an attorney.
“I’m thrilled to be on the Board of Trustees of The Morton Arboretum and to help further its work in planting and conserving trees and plants, scientific research and educational programs,” said Weidenbach in a written statement. “I also look forward to helping the organization position itself as the leading center of tree expertise.”
Long active in the Chicago-area community, the married father of six children also is a trustee of the DuPage Community Foundation where he currently serves as chairman of the grant committee. Weidenbach formerly served as a trustee of the DuPage Children’s Museum.
