With the economy still sluggish, local not-for-profit organizations continue to be impacted and face on-going funding difficulties. At Naperville Community Television we are familiar with such challenges as we too are a not-for-profit organization. However, NCTV17 is in a unique position to help other not-for-profit organizations by providing them with a free marketing opportunity to appear as a guest on our ever-popular show, “Spotlight on Naperville.”
“Spotlight on Naperville” is hosted by Naperville’s own Nancy Wiersum, who also happens to be the new Development Director for 360 Youth Services. The show is taped live on the second Wednesday of every month, at which time NCTV17 welcomes six extraordinary not-for-profit organizations to the station to tape a segment promoting their upcoming events and raising awareness of the important work they do within the community. The program is broadcast live, and then aired repeatedly throughout the month on Channel 17 and Channel 99, and online at the newly-redesigned NCTV17.com
Recently, “Spotlight on Naperville” received its own close-up, as we revealed a brand new set. This set was made possible through the joint efforts of Design Resource Center, Jeffrey Ross Photography, Jo Lundeen Photography, the photographers from Positively Naperville, and MinuteMan Press. We thank these businesses whole-heartedly, as we could not have done it without their support!
If your Naperville 501(c)(3) organization is interested in becoming a guest, visit the “Spotlight on Naperville” show page at NCTV17.com to see past shows, and then email email@example.com with your information. Spots are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We hope you will tune in and join us next time on “Spotlight on Naperville,” to learn more about what makes Naperville a community that cares!
