To meet this goal, the Chamber’s volunteer team has been reaching out to friends, colleagues and clients who are nonmembers or former members to encourage them to become active in one of the most dynamic business associations in the state.

“Our region represents a large portion of Illinois’ economy and while we’re 100 years old, we intend to remain the most relevant source for connections, referrals and business advocacy,” said Mike Evans, president & CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, in a written statement. “By connecting even more of our region’s business community, the Chamber’s relevancy to our individual members increases and that’s what this drive is all about.”

The Chamber’s mission is to provide valuable business resources to member organizations through a mix of programming, referral networks, educational offerings and marketing opportunities. With more than 400 events and meetings held annually, its membership has a plethora of ways to become involved.

Located in Main Street Promenade, the Naperville Area Chamber also has been twice recognized as part of the elite one percent of chambers earning the prestigious 5-Star Accreditation designation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This ranking demonstrates that the Chamber operates with strict financial accounting, offers valuable member benefits, and has a strong record of improving the business climate.

Evans added that most important on a business owner’s mind is knowing if they are investing in an organization that makes a difference with relevance in improving their outlook and environment.

“Our efforts to improve the business climate won’t ever stop and we hope more businesses will help us carry forward the business agenda,” Evans said.

The Chamber offers choices in becoming and remaining active members. With four membership levels, businesses are able to select a slew of marketing and membership benefits that work for their business and member experience.

Membership Campaign runs Sept. 24-26

The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce currently has 1,500 members of every size and sector, ranging from Fortune 100 companies, small businesses and more than 125 nonprofits.

The Membership Campaign, set up in four 3-hour shifts, will take place Sept. 24 through Thursday, Sept. 26. Shifts will be led by Ray Kinney, Adam Parks, Tim Belgio, Tom Belgio and Tracey Cowart.

The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce creates a business center of offices with a conference room, located on the third level of Main Street Promenade, 55 S. Main Street, in downtown Naperville.
