Road & Parking Lot Closures! Some Building Closures, Too!
Beginning Wednesday, August 28, the Jaycees’ Last Fling will require the closing of parking lots and streets at and near the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center and Park District Administration Building.
The parking lots for the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center (at 305 W. Jackson Ave.) and the Park District Administration Building (320 W. Jackson Ave.) will close at 5AM on Wednesday, August 28 and will remain closed through the end of the day on Monday, September 2.
Jackson Avenue also will be closed during Last Fling.
Attached is a traffic control plan for the adjacent downtown streets during Last Fling set up and during the festival.

Park District hours of operation surrounding the Labor Day Holiday and Last Fling event are as follows:
The Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center will be closed Monday, August 26 through Monday, September 2.
The Park District Administration Building and the 95th Street Center (2244 W. 95th St.) will remain open the week of August 26-30 with an early closure on Friday, August 30. Friday hours will be 8:30AM .-3PM for the Administration Building and 10AM-3PM for the 95th Street Center. Both facilities will remain closed through Monday, September 2.
Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses will remain open throughout the holiday weekend. The Millennium Carillon will be available for tours Saturday, August 31 from 10AM-4PM and Sunday, Sept. 1 from noon-6PM. The Paddleboats and the Riverwalk Eatery will be open Friday, Aug. 30 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10AM-7PM. Centennial Beach will operate with the following end-of-the season hours:

- 9AM-10:55AM– Adult Float
- 11AM-dusk – Open Swim
Sunday, September 1
- 9AM-10:55AM – Adult Float
- 11AM -6PM – Open Swim
Monday, September 2

The Park District Administration Building, the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center and the 95th Street Center will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, September 3.
