Ronald Nyberg and Gerald Cassioppi, Managing Partners of Nyberg & Cassioppi, LLC, announced Tuesday the addition of attorneys Kevin Coyne and Ann Matthews as Partners in the Naperville law firm.

Attorney Kevin Coyne
Concentrating in real estate law and licensed to practice in Illinois and Iowa, Coyne represents clients in the acquisition of a wide range of commercial real estate properties and businesses, including national franchises, restaurants and bars, and professional practices. Coyne also represents both landlords and tenants in an assortment of retail, industrial, office, and residential leasing matters.
A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Business, Coyne received his Juris Doctor from DePaul and his LL.M. from John Marshall Law School. A member of the DuPage County and Illinois State Bar Associations, he also is a member of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, and has served as a Commissioner of the City of Naperville Planning and Zoning commission and the Naperville Fair Housing Advisory Commission. Coyne also has served on the Board of Directors of the Naperville Jaycees and was a member of the Naperville Last Fling Executive Committee for several years.
He is a member of the Government Relations Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.
Kevin and his wife, Kim, live in Naperville with their young daughter.
Attorney Ann Matthews
Matthews concentrates her practice in estate planning and trust and estate administration. She advises individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning, including sophisticated gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax matters. Her practice also includes advising clients on charitable giving as well as the creation, tax reporting and management of private foundations.
A graduate from Brigham Young University Law School in 1988, magna cum laude, Matthews served as the Managing Editor of the Law Review. Following law school she served a judicial clerkship to the Honorable James Duke Cameron of the Arizona Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Nyberg & Cassioppi, Matthews was a partner at Botto Law Group as well as Special Counsel at Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (formerly Pillsbury Madison & Sutro LLP). She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and California.
Matthews lives in Naperville with her husband and four children.
