Love Letters to Yourself will host a “lovely” special event from 10:30AM to 2:30PM on Sat., Sept. 7, at the Free Speech Pavilion located on the Naperville Riverwalk at Jackson & Webster streets.
Organizers will be creating a mural of self-love and welcome the community to join them.
“Simply stop by to learn more about what we do and the amazing opportunity our founder, Jillie Johnston, was offered,” said organizer Meg Mae.
Love Letters to Yourself is a women’s empowerment project where members promote and encourage self-love among women worldwide.
“We hold workshops in the Naperville/Aurora area teaching women the importance of self-love, self acceptance, and self-worth through exercises, conversation and self reflection,” explained Mae. “Through these exercises, we teach women how to ignite that love already within them and write a love letter to themselves.”
Love Letters to Yourself is billed as a fun event for all ages. Entertainment will include a wonderfully talented musician, an opportunity to write a love letter or time to just spend an afternoon on the Riverwalk saying hello to the volunteers of Love Letters to Yourself.
