DuPage Children’s Museum welcomes Mobile Learning Adventure on Aug. 13

-

DCMPNC Grow Up Great “Learning is All Around Me!” Mobile Learning Adventure will visit DuPage Children’s Museum from 10AM to 2PM on Tues., Aug. 13. Families and children ages five and under are invited to participate in a free event held in DuPage Children’s Museum’s parking lot.

“We’re happy to once again be a host site for this fun learning experience for young children, and we encourage our members and visitors to take advantage of this opportunity,” said Margaret Hanly, DCM Director of Programs, in today’s news release. “PNC has been an exceptional partner in helping to support early learning initiatives for young children. Through funding and collaboration they have allowed the Museum, in partnership with DuPage/Kane Child Care Resource and Referral, to provide STEM-focused professional development programs that offer adults practical guidance on how to facilitate learning opportunities for children.”

The Mobile Learning Adventure (MLA) is a traveling exhibit that provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn about the importance of early childhood education while they engage in fun activities with their children. The PNC MLA is part of PNC Grow Up Great, a $350 million, multi-year initiative that began in 2004 to help prepare children from birth to age five for success in school and life.
