First Community Financial Bank Naperville recently marked its fifth anniversary. The community bank that first opened a temporary location near Springbrook Prairie along 75th St. now has its permanent home in Naperville Plaza at 24 W. Gartner Rd.

Pat Benton, now retired, served as the first president when the bank opened in 2008. Benton, who continues to serve as a Member of the Advisory Board, notes that Rita Juplo, Mary Jane Leisten and Gail Davidson have been with the bank since the beginning, too.

“I’m new to the bank,” said Anna Zimmerman, Mortgage Lender. “But one of the most amazing things about working here is how my new co-workers greet each and every bank customer that walks through our door. They treat them like family. And care to make their banking experience pleasant and always are available to answer any of their questions that they may have. I’m so  glad to be part of this community bank.”

In addition to personal service inside the bank, the new spacious location offers a drive-through banking window and a drive-up Automatic Teller Machine (ATM). For more information, visit www.fcbnaperville.com.

PN Ombudsman
An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
