‘Peter Pan’ at North Central College / North Central College’s Summer Musical Theatre presents the time-honored, family-friendly musical “Peter Pan.” Performances this weekend will be staged at 7:30PM Aug. 3 and at 2PM and Aug. 4 in Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave., Naperville. Tickets are $15/adults and $10/students and senior citizens; call the North Central College Box Office at 630-637-SHOW (7469) or visit northcentralcollege.edu/showtix.

ArranmoreArts’ Cabernet Cabaret Concert Series / 6:30PM / The next concert in the ArranmoreArts’ Cabernet Cabaret Concert Series, aptly named Boogie Wonderland, is scheduled for Saturday, August 3. Gates open at 6:30PM with the show starting at 8PM. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.arranmorearts.org or at ticket locations listed on the site. Children under 13 are admitted free.

Featuring the return of popular Cabernet Cabaret artists to perform dance music that defined the eras they came from, Boogie Wonderland will prove to be one big dance party on the lawn. All Cabernet Cabaret concerts are performed on the expansive lawn of Arranmore Farm & Polo Club (34 Rance Rd.) in Oswego, near South Naperville.

Attendees are encouraged to B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Party) including a full spread of food, drink, blankets, chairs and small tables to enhance the experience in the outdoor setting.

Sunday

Sprint Triathlon / 7AM / The Naperville Sprint Triathlon consists of swimming, biking and running and begins and ends at Centennial Beach, 500 W. Jackson Ave., on Sunday, August 4. The start time is 7AM. For more information, visit www.napervilletri.com. Alert! Street closures and additional “no parking” zones Sunday morning beginning at 6AM until about noon.

German Church Service / 11:30AM / Church services in the German language will be held at St. John United Church of Christ, 1190 Olesen Drive in Naperville, at 11:30AM on Sunday, August 4. The services will be led by the Reverend Egon Gerdes, and all are welcome to attend. Services are held on the first Sunday of each month and will continue on September 1 and October 6. Settlement Sundays / 1 – 4PM / On Sundays through Aug. 25, admission includes do-it-yourself ice cream sundaes and a variety of family-friendly activities for all ages at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville. Hours are 1-4PM; regular admission is $12 adult, $10 senior (62+), $8 youth (4-12). Naperville residents and members are free.
