The Naperville Central High School Class of 1973 is planning its 40th reunion for the weekend of Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13-14.
A golf outing is planned for Fri., Sept. 13, at Springbrook Golf Course, 2220 W. 83rd St., with the first teetime at noon and eight additional slots reserved. Everyone will receive the residents’ twilight rate of golf plus a cart for $52.
Following the golf outing, we’ll take a tour of Naperville from 5-6PM or 6-7PM via the Naperville Trolley, $15 per person. Pick up and drop off is at Frankie’s Blue Room, 16 W. Chicago Ave.
A casual get-together is planned from 7 to 11PM on Fri., Sept. 13, at Frankie’s Blue Room. Entrance fee is $10. A cash bar and food will be available. All classes are welcome.
At 11AM on Sat., Sept. 14, we’ll be touring the newly renovated Naperville Central High School at 440 W. Aurora Ave. (in case you forgot!).
Meet in the main lobby off Aurora Ave. After the tour, classmates are invited to meet for lunch at noon at The Lantern, 8 W. Chicago Ave.
The reunion party including a rock show, pig roast and bonfire will be held from 5PM to midnight Sat., Sept. 14 at Quantrol, Inc., 9001 Hanslik Court, located in the Wheatland Industrial Park. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Admission includes dinner, beverages and music from some of Naperville’s best bands over the past 40 years! All classes are invited to the party.
