Equal Fun for Everyone – Team One adopts WDSRA Foundation

-

Within the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, TEAM is an acronym for Together Everyone Achieves More. In this spirit, members of the chamber’s Lead’s Group Team One have elected to adopt a non-profit in an effort to “do more” for the community. And I am delighted to report that they have chosen to support Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) Foundation. So save the date of Thursday, July 25. That’s when Team One will host an awesome fundraising event that includes great people, great food, and raffle prizes – all in the spirit of making the world a better place by helping those with disabilities reach their true potential.

Leads Group Team One of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce (from the left) Steve Brockman (Expert Plumbing), Rich Orna (American Wealth Strategies), Glenn Sasveld (First Centennial Mortgage), and Janessa Leach (bd’s Mongolian Grill) discuss details of the fundraiser for the WDSRA Foundation on July 25, 2013.

And all you have to do to join the fun is dine at bd’s Mongolian Grill that evening and mention your support of WDSRA to your server. Many local celebrities, including Mayor A. George Pradel and Naperville Park District’s Ray McGury, will be available for hobnobbing while volunteering as guest grillers.

The event will take place from 5-10pm on Thursday, July 25 at bd’s Mongolian Grill, located at 221 S. Washington Street in downtown Naperville.

WDSRA provides engaging, community-based recreational programs and inclusion services for children, teens, and adults with special needs.
