The Naperville Jaycees Last Fling 2013 is now accepting band submissions for the Entertainment Stage located on Jackson Ave., just west of Main Street in downtown Naperville. The annual four-day family fun festival designed to wrap up the summer season as school begins again is slated to run Friday-Monday, Aug. 30-Sept. 2.
Bands may submit the following to entertainment@lastfling.org by Sunday, June 30: name of act, contact name and number, availability for Aug. 30-Sept. 2, performance price, and music sample (including a video or link to YouTube to playing live). Bands must have 90 to 100 minutes of material.
Singers sought to compete in ‘Singing at the Fling’
Singers of all ages are also invited to participate in the Singing at the Fling competition. Auditions will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3 for registered singers only. Finals will be at the Entertainment Stage at the Last Fling at 1PM on Sunday, September 1, and the first place winners in each age group will sing on the Main Stage on Monday, September 2 (time TBD). Singers may prepare one song of up to three minutes in length, and they must provide their own music. A panel of judges will decide on one winner per age category. Age groups are 6-12, 13-16, 17+. Prizes are to be determined.

The Naperville Jaycees is a not-for-profit service organization with more than 100 young persons dedicated to providing Naperville area residents with the opportunity to better themselves and grow personally and professionally while giving back to the community through community service and fundraising efforts.
