Custom Framing, is made honorary citizen of
Naperville by Mayor GEORGE PRADEL.
Colbert Custom Framing & Art Printing has a French connection. In fact, the Colbert family has many connections to France through numerous visits (dating back to Sue’s study abroad as a high school student) and many opportunities throughout the years to host and entertain various French students and visitors. This summer the Colberts welcome Celine Dellyes, a French university student majoring in international trade, as a summer intern.
Dellyes will be furthering her language skills as well as learning about the American business culture. Her specific work study experience at Colbert Custom Framing & Art Printing will include targeting and prospecting for new markets and planning a marketing event.
This visit is her first trip to the United States, a lifelong dream, and she has already experienced Civil War Days where she met “Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln.” She’s also climbed the Moser Tower with the 72-bell Millennium Carillon, met Mayor George Pradel (who proclaimed her an honorary citizen of Naperville), had American pizza (and other various fast foods), been to an American church, participated in Memorial Day activities, attended several events through the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, and has even signed up to volunteer at an upcoming event.
“I’m really impressed with how patriotic Americans are,” noted Dellyes after touring Naper Settlement. “You fly your flags and remember historic events. It’s really wonderful.”
Dellyes will be working at the company’s facility in Market Meadows Plaza, located at 75th and Naper, as well as networking in the community.
