Naperville Quilts! 2013 – Quilt Show / 2 – 9PM / The show will be held at the Northern Illinois University Conference Center, 1120 East Diehl Road. It will also be held Saturday from 9AM – 5PM. Amy Walsh and Janine Burke of Blue Underground Studios are our featured quilters for the show. There are plans to display over 300 quilts made by the Riverwalk Quilters including the beautiful opportunity quilt, and quilts from their 2012-2013 Member Quilt Challenge, “Along the Riverwalk”. Nancy Young Dolphin Dash / 8:30AM / The Nancy Young PTA is hosting its 6th Annual Run for Fun at Nancy Young School, 800 Asbury Dr. in Aurora. This event provides families an opportunity to have a fun time together, while promoting exercising and fitness. Race Day includes a USATF certified 5K course in the neighborhood surrounding our school, a 1 Mile Run/Walk and a post-race party featuring a pancake breakfast, silent auction and other activities. Casey’s Fires up the Grill / 10AM – 2PM / Casey’s Foods will begin firing up its grill every Saturday and Sunday through October at Naperville Plaza, Gartner and Washington. Purchase reliable stand-bys — burgers, brats, steak and chicken tacos, etc. — and enjoy grilled specials every weekend throughout the summer and fall. Picnic tables provide seating under cover, too.

Catch 35, located at 35 S. Washington in downtown Naperville will be serving a Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 10AM – 2PM.
