Since 1859, the big drums of the Naperville Municipal Band have been beating for the performing arts in Naperville.
With a long rich history of traditions, the Naperville Municipal Band has marched in the Memorial Day and Labor Parades to begin and end the summer while its popular Thursday evening series of outdoor summer concerts has been sandwiched in the middle. Throughout the year, the band under the leadership of Ron Keller performs seasonal indoor concerts on certain Sundays.
Beginning on May 26, Central Park, nestled behind the old Nichols Library and US Bank in northeast section of downtown Naperville, again will come alive with music.
