The Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation has a full slate of activities and information planned to begin at 8AM on Saturday, May 18 when its annual general membership meeting kicks off in meeting rooms B&C of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street.
High on the agenda to take care of NAHC business is the election of a new president and vice-president.
In addition, State Representative Darlene Senger will join us to talk about public employee pension funding efforts in Springfield. Naperville City Councilman Steve Chirico will take a turn at the podium to discuss the November 10th Naperville Marathon and what the resultant road closures will mean to our neighborhoods.
The membership will review of the past year, further discussion on Illinois HB 1522 and provide open forum time for members to talk about what is on their minds, and a vote on a few proposed changes to the bylaws.
Because of bylaws mandated “term limits,” this meeting will be Dr. Bob Buckman’s last as president.
All members are encouraged to come out to thank him, neighbor-to-neighbor, for the steady hand he has had on our helm for the past four years.
Coffee and networking, sponsored by ReMax of Naperville, starts the morning at 8 AM. The formal meeting begins at 8:30 and we will adjourn by 10.
