April Showers: Flood in imagery and video

-

The DuPage River has flooded many area parks, roads and recreation areas in Naperville and the following is a collection of Positively Naperville media collected mostly along the DuPage River and Naperville Riverwalk.

Photos include sights in downtown Naperville, North Central College, McDowell Woods Forest Preserve, Knoch Knolls Park, May Watts Park and more.

PN reminds residents to be safe and not enter areas of high water levels. Even Dick Tracy has a difficult time navigating the flood. For the latest updates on road and bridge closures, visit www.naperville.il.us. Thanks to all volunteers, public safety officials and the ongoing communications from the schools and the City of Naperville.

PN Ombudsman
PN Ombudsman
An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
