Naperville Bank & Trust Kids Money Smart Mini Camp! / 6PM-11:30AM / Naperville Bank & Trust & Kids Wealth International Club are hosting a Junior Savers Money Smart Mini Camp for two dates. 6 to 8:30PM Friday, April 12 for children ages 10-14 and 9 to 11:30AM. Saturday, April 13 for children ages 6 to 9. The camp will be held at Naperville Bank & Trust 555 Fort Hill Dr.
Both camps will be in the community room at Naperville Bank & Trust, 555 Fort Hill Drive, Naperville. The cost is $47 for two parents and one child (each additional child is $10) and includes food and drinks, the new book, “Raising Wealthy Kids: 7 Steps for Creating the First Financially Responsible Generation.
The camp will teach children and their parents about how to build a strong financial future in a fun way. Topics include where money comes from, money management, wealth principles, charitable giving and more to provide a solid wealth foundation. Twisted Olive and Friend / 8PM / Evergreen Theatre Ensemble’s spring project, Twisted Olive and Friends, is a gathering of short plays that contain much humor with some engaging moments that might have the audience reflecting on their relationships with family, friends and work associates. Flip for flapjacks with Rotary South & Interact Clubs at Neuqua Valley High School / 8AM-11AM / The Rotary Club of Naperville South and the Neuqua Valley High School Interact Club will hold a pancake breakfast at Neuqua Valley’s main campus cafeteria, 2360 95th St. The breakfast is a fundraiser benefiting Loaves and Fishes Community Pantry, providing food and empowerment programs to individuals in the Naperville area and DuPage County whose financial circumstances make it difficult to provide for themselves and their families, and Rotary International’s Shelter Box, which is an international aid organization that provides emergency shelter and life-saving equipment following disasters. Attendees can enjoy performances from local school musical groups and see a Naperville Fire Department fire engine. Heartland Blood Centers will have their mobile unit on-site for a blood drive. WPMA Annual Family Spaghetti Supper / 4PM-7PM / The Wheatland Plowing Match Association (WPMA) will host its annual family spaghetti supper at Zion Lutheran Church to benefit its annual college scholarship fund. Two (2) scholarships were awarded in 2012. The public is welcome. Zion Lutheran Church is located at 11007 S. Book Rd. in Naperville. Hopping for Hope / 6PM-9PM / Hopping for Hope on April 13 is a great way to let the kids have fun while raising money toward the 2013 Naperville Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk on Sun., July 28, 2013. 2013 Kyle Zuleg Foundation Fundraiser / 7PM – 9:30PM / Join the 2013 Kyle Zuleg Foundation Fundraiser to support organ donation, provide comfort to organ donor families and provide scholarships to high school seniors. The event, to be held at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Dr. Bolingbrook, will feature CBS Channel 2 News Reporter Dave Savini, NBC Channel 5 News Reporter Rob Elgas, Secretary of State Jesse White, Naperville Mayor George Pradel, Connie Payton and music provided by Music Mania. Also in attendance will Sue Hanneman who received Kyle’s pancreas and kidneys and Michael Dayton who received his liver. The evening will include live and silent auctions and raffle prizes. Tickets are $60 for guests 21 and older and $35 for those under 21. In honor of Kyle and his aspirations to become a sports broadcaster attendees are asked to wear their favorite sports team attire.
