Commemorating its 25th Anniversary, The Naperville Men’s Glee Club (NMGC) organized “NMGC Voices of Hope”, a short term volunteer chorus of over 100 local men and women united by their personal experiences with cancer. After ten weeks of practice, “NMGC Voices of Hope” will perform in concert at 3PM on Sun., April 28 at Wentz Concert Hall.
NMGC Conductor, Bonnie Klee Roberts, and Assistant Conductor, Steven Schroeder, Jr., will direct the chorus in songs of hope and support such as “Stand by Me” and “America the Beautiful”. The Glee Club will perform plus the Boys Choir from Young Naperville Singers under the baton of Ryan Henry. Courtesy of Lilly Oncology and The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, the lobby of Wentz Hall will display “Lilly Oncology on Canvas: Expressions of a Cancer Journey”, a traveling art exhibit of award-winning paintings which honors the journey people face when confronting cancer.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors/students, and they may be purchased online at nmgc.org, by phone at (630) 448-0518, or at the door.
