At NCTV17 we believe an informed voter is the best voter. So, starting Tuesday, March 26, NCTV17 began airing “Candidate Connection” – a half hour program dedicated to bringing candidates to the community through individual interviews.
Each candidate running for the open seats on city council or one of the local school boards (District 203 or District 204) was given the opportunity to stop by our studio and tape their answers to five standard questions we posed to them. Candidates were given a maximum of eight minutes to address the community. The individual interviews have been packaged together into a half hour program called Candidate Connection, which will air on Channel 17 or via simultaneous live stream at NCTV17.com. Voters can also visit our website at NCTV17.com to view the interviews on-demand.
After you’ve cast your vote on April 9, tune in to Channel 17 and watch as the election results come in. NCTV17 will be presenting the only television coverage devoted exclusively to the Naperville races on election night. Decision 2013 live election coverage will begin at 9PM. Hosted by Liz Spencer, the coverage will include returns, commentary and reports from the candidates’ election night headquarters.
Informed and involved voters ensure a strong community. Be sure to cast your vote: your community is counting on you!
