March Madness all Weekend / The NCAA basketball tournament is all weekend. Five Big Ten teams are in action Friday including Illinois at 3:40PM. Enjoy all the action at an area bar including CityGate Grille and Quigley’s Irish Pub.

Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 Fish Fry / 5PM – 8PM / The Judd Kendall VFW 3873 will is pleased to continue its Friday Fish Frys held during lent, a long time Naperville tradition. Saturday

The Sandy Hook 5K Run/Walk for the Families / 8AM – 10AM / A group of Naperville moms has organized a 5k walk/run to benefit the families affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, in conjunction with a 5k on the same day in Hartford, CT.

The Sandy Hook Run for the Families will take place at 8AM on Saturday, March 23, at Danada Forest Preserve in Wheaton,IL. It is one of the “virtual” runs taking place across the country as an add-on to the larger run in Connecticut. All proceeds go to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund.

Rockin’ into Spring at Morton Arboretum / 11AM – 3PM / Rock into spring at the Morton Arboretum with a showcase of unique rocks, gems and other “earthly” specimens. Touch beautiful crystals, examine the Illinois state rocks and minerals and even take home a rock creation of your own. From 11AM – 3PM on March 23 and 24 in the Children’s Garden. Free with admission at the Arboretum, 4100 Rt. 53 in Lisle.
