Trivia enthusiasts packed Quigley’s Pub for Quiz Night Tuesday evening, endearing snow and slippery roads, as the West Suburban Irish kicked off this month’s St. Patrick’s festivities.

This month’s trivia featured a round of St. Patrick’s trivia as teams answered questions in four rounds winning prizes and bragging rights.
St. Patrick’s Trivia included:
1. In what type of building can a blarney stone be found?
2. “Erin Go Bragh,” a phrase heard on St. Patrick’s Day means what?
3. What is the national symbol of Ireland, and a sister beer to Guinness?
4. What does the white part of the Irish flag stand for?

Up Next, the WSI will hold an Irish Mass at 6:30PM on Wednesday, March 13, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd. The Mass will feature Irish hymns, music, harps, vocalists and dancers. A soda bread reception will immediately follow the mass.
